Mark Falvo and Legal Eagles reach year
Number 8
(The Ocho). Legal Eagles has been active in every elementary school in
the county. Program sponsors include the Young Lawyers of the Clearfield
Bar Association, Clearfield County Sherrif's Office, Clearfield County
Crime Stoppers and Area businesses. This year, the first class of Legal
Eagles from Curwensville Elementary School will graduate from high school.
The first class of students from St. Francis Elementary School will mark
the same milestone next year.
Program speakers include judges, lawyers,
doctors, state police officers, U.S. secret service and FBI agents,
members of the media and community leaders, who discuss their choices and
the consequences of those choices. The program has recieved awards and
recognition at the state and federal levels. At last count, the program
has graduated 2,500 students! |
